The BBA has been participating in this project since at least 1993 when Dolores White-Kiser started making up boxes. She began with about 73 which was how old her husband was when he died. She has increased how many she makes herself each year by at least one. This year she did 155 shoeboxes and encouraged her church (Silo BC) to do another 100 and they did over that! Armstrong BC does 100 boxes every year also but the ones that come in with just one box are a huge blessing also. We did a record number of 1654 shoeboxes this year. The most we have ever done in the past was 1063 in 2007.
